I had a really mature piece ready to post and got distracted by Olle Hemmendorf’s rendition of the Air Max 90. I’ve never been drawn to Nike’s ethos or aesthetics but I have a lot of respect for them after yet another solid year of inspired advertising.
Last year’s Vintage Running campaign didn’t affect my love of old print ads and catalogues much either. To maintain a lifestyle brand from such dissimilar angles is overwhelming, and a testament to the marketing managers and cool hunters running Nike’s on campus track in Oregon.
